At the One Southern Indiana annual meeting

Alpha Energy Solutions does business all across the region — and believes it’s important to get involved in area business associations. We know that meeting customers and potential partners in a variety of locations are one way to build our book of business. And it’s great to learn about important issues and achievements involving our communities.

And while these may be the dog days of summer, Alpha’s sales and marketing team has been busy attending several events this week. One of the biggest was One Southern Indiana’s Annual Meeting in New Albany. Several hundred members listened intently as 1SI president  & CEO Wendy Dant Chesser spoke about the importance of regionalism and cooperation in business development.

The next day we celebrated the kickoff event of one of the region’s largest events – Jeffersontown’s Gaslight Festival. Mayor Bill Dieruf spoke about the 46th annual event, which consists of two weeks of activities ranging from a golf scramble to a pipe-smoking contest. It was held at Woodhaven Country Club.

On Wednesday, Alpha was there at the Mercury Ballroom downtown as our friends at Greater Louisville Inc. celebrated entrepreneurism at their annual Enterprise Inc. awards, presided over by GLI president Kent Oyler.

In addition, our friends at the St. Matthews Chamber were celebrating their 60th anniversary this week with a luncheon at Big Spring Country Club. And down the road a bit, Alpha was present at an after-hours networking event sponsored by the Bardstown Nelson County Chamber, one of the newest groups Alpha has joined.

Alpha also entered a team in the Kentucky Employees Charitable Campaign Golf Scramble in Frankfort, where our contribution goes toward improving the lives of Kentucky families.

In the near future, we will also be supporting events benefitting the Riverport Business Association and the Metro United Way.

Of course, Alpha’s sponsorship of Ben Rhodes pays dividends by opening up opportunities to showcase the #88 Alpha Energy Solutions race car. Through a sponsorship agreement with Passport Health Plan, the show car is on display throughout the Kentucky State Fair, at Passport’s booth in the South Wing.

By attending events and supporting local business associations, Alpha Energy Solutions believes it is helping to improve the business climate and the lives of all our citizens.
